Senior Spotlight: Aubrey Mae Misfeldt — Class of 2026

Meet Aubrey Mae Misfeldt, a proud senior at Erie High School where she shines in both academics and athletics. Wearing the Panthers’ red and black, she’s already made her mark—helping her volleyball team win conference and advance all the way to the Sweet 16, along with a regional title. Determined, confident, driven, empathetic, and fierce—those five words perfectly capture her spirit.

Off the court, Aubrey finds balance by winding down with movies after busy days and cherishing time with her family. She comes from a close-knit crew: her mom Rhonda, dad Chad, brothers Drew and Mason, her sister-in-law Shelby, and a niece and nephew, Parker and Colt. Add in her golden-doodle Barrett and tabby cat Cleo, and life is full of love and laughter at home.

High school has brought countless memories, but homecoming week and the class olympics stand out as some of her favorites. She also treasures the lessons from Mrs. Wall—her favorite teacher—whose classes were not only fun but inspiring. Looking back, her advice to her freshman self would be simple but powerful: Don’t be afraid to try new things and just have fun!

Looking ahead, Misfeldt plans to attend Scott Community College to study ultrasonography. Inspired most by her mom, who models drive and positivity every day, she hopes to follow in those footsteps as she builds her future. In five years, she envisions herself with a career she loves and married, ready to take on life’s next adventures.

For her senior portraits, she’s excited to capture her love for fall—pumpkins, golden leaves, and a touch of Halloween vibes will set the scene. Basketball will also be a part of her session, celebrating another passion from her high school years.
