🎓 Senior Spotlight: Lauren Beth Abbott – Class of 2026 🎓

Meet the radiant, kind, and caring Lauren Beth Abbott, a proud senior at Erie High School in Erie, Illinois! Representing her school in red and black, Lauren is a standout student-athlete and a shining example of what it means to be both driven and compassionate.
Lauren’s high school journey has been nothing short of inspiring. From making the Volleyball All-State team to consistently earning a spot on the High Honor Roll, she’s worked hard on and off the court. One of her favorite memories? Winning the regional volleyball championship and advancing to sectionals—a thrilling highlight in her athletic career!

Off the court, Lauren is just as impressive.
She has big dreams of becoming a sonographer, although she hasn’t quite decided which college path she’ll take just yet. Her adventurous spirit once led her to cliff jump—proof that she’s never afraid to take a leap!
Family is incredibly important to Lauren. With both parents working in education, a sister, and their beloved therapy dog Mel (a yellow English Lab), the Abbotts love traveling together and creating lifelong memories.
When she’s not playing volleyball or basketball, Lauren enjoys singing, reading, and coloring. She’s also a fan of Texas Roadhouse, and if she could eat one food for the rest of her life, it’d be pizza—a classic choice!
One of Lauren’s most cherished teachers is her dad, Mr. Abbott, which makes sense considering the special bond they share. And of all her school events, prom holds a special place in her heart.
Lauren’s photography session
For Lauren’s session, we headed to the beautiful little town of Geneseo, IL. We found lots of unique locations that perfectly complemented Lauren’s outfit choices. After capturing her in four different looks, I asked if she’d be up for trying on a gown I had brought along. She was up for the challenge! By this point we were just outside of town—an ideal spot to showcase not only Lauren’s natural beauty, but also a stunning sunset. She looked absolutely gorgeous in the flowing red gown, and I’m so glad she was open to trying something a little different for her senior session.
I can’t wait to photograph Lauren again for sports and fall!
